The Global Zimbabwe Forum (GZF) welcomes the decision to postpone indefinately the proposed disciplinary hearing of the Johannesburg central Methodist Church Resident Minister, Paul Verryn.

The GZF hopes that the decision to refer the matter for arbitration will help to initiate the critical process of reconciliation within the church's leadership and also avoid a process of systematic victimisation of Verryn.

Zimbabweans in the Diaspora, especially those in South Africa fully appreciate all the wonderful humanitarian work that Verryn has done for the community in the last few years.

We wish him well in all his endeavours.
